Coming to the end of 2014. Another good year of service.
POPCE is reaching the end of 2014. Another year of good service. Community members and supporters have really stepped up this year to help continue to build, serve and enhance the lives of those around us. This year, our food services have provided for more than 4,600 households.
We acquired a new building and with the help of the Bethany Men's Group have been moving forward with renovations. Community members and POPCE Friends have beautified the area in which we now operate with a make-over and the opening of the computer lab.
Several of our community volunteers have obtained employment through our referral programs and are now working and giving back to those around them.
Because of our strong in-kind donation network, we have been able to provide furniture and appliances for 27 families throughout this year.
Our Movie Nights in the garden had record high attendance and the gardens underwent some great improvements.
With the holiday season upon us, gifts and donations have been pouring in to provide a full selection of gifts for our POPCE Faux Christmas Auction.
We are all very excited about what 2015 will bring to POPCE and the residence of the Stockyard Community.
Thank you everyone for your continued support, prayers and best wishes as we live the motto:
